This pose was a pain in the butt!!! I think I had to cook it 6 different times but I think it turned out pretty cute. When I thought of the pose I never thought of the fact that a pony's head is so big that they really don't have shoulders so the other pony would have to lean way over to the side to see. oh well
Thanks...I do too but it doesn't seem to have made a big impact based on numbers? I know it looks a little funny because she has to lean far to the side to poke her head around but because of the size of pony heads it was unavoidable. I still like it even if not a lot of us do!!!!
Well Numbers can be odd... especially when it comes to things that looking shipy and Anthro like. I myself Like the Anthro like touch of the pose and shoulders, but I've noticed with my other art that there dose seem to be a decent sized sub group of people who don't seem to like it when ponies get overly human hybrid in their actions.
The lean over looks a little strange* from a couple of angles, but anybody who has worked in 3D space or who bothers studying things in the real world know that a lot of cool poses can look really strange when viewed from a lot of different angles. XD|XP
yeah, with a person, you can rest your head on their shoulders a little to the side of their head but since a pony's head is as wide as their shoulders there was no other way to do it. people are just weird is the only explanation i have anymore. This one was a commission and they like it so i guess that is what's important!
Thanks! Yeah, even at 150 it would still not really be enough actually! I charged the person $100 before i realized how difficult it was going to be. I had to make is in about 6 steps and several sandings and well, it was just a pain
