Rainbow Dash as MARE-ILYN (Marilyn) Monroe by MadPonyScientist Rainbow Dash as MARE-ILYN (Marilyn) Monroe by MadPonyScientist
Rainbow Dash playing dress-up as MARE-ILYN (Marilyn) Monroe in The Seven Year Itch when her skirt was being blown up from the subway vent. I'm sure you have all seen the original picture. I always like to imagine that Rainbow Dash has this girly personality when she thinks nopony is watching her...

EBAY : [link]

She is 7.5 inches tall. You can't see it very well in the pictures but her earrings are very sparkly just like Marilyn's. Doesn't she do a great glamor pose?

Hope you like her :)

Made by me out of polymer clay, paint and hard work...

Wow its one is certainly lovely ^^

I love the texture on the dress (and the shoes hehe) How did you get that texture on it? Was it just done by hand?

I rolled it out flat and then I actually took the edge of a wooden knife and pressed it into the clay following it around in a circle. I'm sure there is probably a way to do it properly that one of the G1 custom makers know of but I don't know it. As a result, the pleated texture is only on the top because if I flipped it over and did the same thing to the other side it would have just flattened the other side out again. It still looks pretty good but I didn't want to make indents by putting braces under it so it sagged a little on the sides which were supposed to be higher. The pearl paint really set it off though and brought it all together. Those shoes were actually a pain in the butt! The tiny little straps didn't want to stick to her legs...but all in all I think she turned out pretty darn well. This is the one I almost did your style of eyes for...
